Formalities and Permit Lead

Job Summary

Manage, monitor, and evaluate the end-to-end permits and formalities process across all business lines, directorates, and projects. Coordinate and monitor the administration and renewal of company licenses and permits, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the effective execution of formalities activities.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Plan and coordinate the strategy and execution of all permitting and formalities activities in accordance with government regulations and internal company policies. Accurate planning of the permit / licenses process in compliance with Government regulations and internal company policy.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and government agencies. Strong, collaborative relationships with government and regulatory bodies
Ensure alignment of permitting activities with project timelines and business objectives. Permitting strategy aligns with project and business timelines

Lead regulatory risk assessments and ensure proactive mitigation measures.

Risks identified early and mitigated

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure standardization of processes.

Continuous improvement initiatives implemented, permitting process standardized across business units

Report to General Manager on compliance status, risks, and performance metrics.

Timely and insightful reporting to General Manager on permitting status and regulatory performance
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related fields.

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min. 5 - 7 years experiences in a role related to permits, licensing, or regulatory formalities.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, legal frameworks, and permitting procedures relevant to the business sector
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations.
  • Skilled in liaising and negotiating with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and external partners.
  • Strong diplomatic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to travel to other work location or project sites (when required).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
