Digital Content Development Officer

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining engaging digital learning content and assessment materials. This role ensures the organization's e-learning platforms remain up-to-date, user-friendly and aligned with instructional design principles. The position involves creating new modules, updating existing content, managing an assessment library and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver high quality learning experiences that support employee development and organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric

Develop, update and maintain e-learning modules, multimedia resources and digital contentusing authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, Storyline).

New e-learning modules and multimedia resources are delivered on time

Manage and update the assessment library, evaluation tools to ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with learning objectives.

Assessment library and evaluation tools are 100% accurate, updated and aligned with learning objectives

Review, edit and refresh existing learning content to reflect updated policies, procedures or standards.

Existing content is refreshed within agreed timelines

Collaborate with SMEs, trainers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into engaging and effective learning materials.

Stakeholders satisfaction with clarity, quality and applicability of learning materials.

Monitor learner engagement and assessment result to recommend improvements in content or delivery.

Engagement rates and completion rates improve, assessment results drive documented content improvements

Maintain proper version control and documentation of content updates and assessment changes.

100% of content updates tracked with proper version control and documentation is audit-ready at all times

Support the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading, testing anf troubleshooting e-learning modules and assessments

Issues resolved within defined SLA timelines

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Science, Multimedia Design / Graphic Design / Digital Media or a related field.

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min 1 - 3 years experince in developing and updating e-learning courses, digital training content or online assessment
  • Prior exposure to LMS administration (Uploading, testing, troubleshooting e-learning content)
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, trainers or instructional designers.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Story/Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia)
  • String multimedia design and editing skills (graphics, video, audio, animation)
  • Excellence writing, editing and content development abilities
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in digital content and LMS issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
