Procurement Engineer - Site Based
Job Summary
Process, control and monitor the Purchase Order (PO) until goods and / or services delivered completely to User (Requestor) and Project. Closely coordinate within Procurement group, Logistics and Warehouse on daily basis, in order to support company in terms of delivering good practice (QCDSM) to Supply Chain Management process which conform to business ethics and company’s procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO) within agreed timelines and ensure timely fulfillment of project requirements.
- Manage sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and award processes for goods and services.
- Conduct commercial evaluations, prepare bid comparison analyses, and provide award recommendations to management.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contractual conditions to obtain the best commercial value for the company.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Logistics, Warehouse, and Project teams to ensure procurement activities align with project schedules and operational needs.
- Monitor supplier performance, maintain strategic supplier relationships, and support the development of preferred vendor agreements and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Support contract administration, order tracking, expediting, and resolution of procurement-related issues to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procurement policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain complete procurement documentation and reporting to support transparency, governance, and business decision-making.
- Actively support Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) programs, risk management initiatives, and company sustainability objectives.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Skill, Knowledge, and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Contract Management, or Supply Chain functions, preferably in Mining, EPC, Construction, Oil & Gas, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, commercial evaluations, supplier management, and contract administration. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent procurement platforms.Good knowledge of supply chain management, inventory management, and procurement best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written.
- High integrity, commercially driven, able to work under pressure, and willing to travel or be assigned to project sites as required.
Certification
- If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 5.
