Senior HCIS Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior HCIS Specialist serves as a system expert and primary resource for the organization’s HCIS, providing advanced system configuration, analysis, and strategic support. This role leads HCIS initiatives, optimizes system performance, and ensures seamless integration between HC systems and business processes. The Senior HCIS Specialist partners with HC leaders, IT, business stakeholders and vendors to design and implement solutions that enhance HC data management, analytics, and user experience.  The Senior HCIS Specialist contributes to process improvement, data governance, and the optimization of HC technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Serve as a subject matter expert on HCIS functionality, workflows, and data structures. Acts as recognized SME for HCIS functionality and workflows
Lead system configuration, testing, and implementation of new features or modules. New features/modules are configured, tested, and implemented within agreed timelines and quality standards
Design, develop, and automate complex HC reports and analytics for decision-making. Complex reports and dashboards are delivered and analytics outputs directly support management decision-making.
Ensure system compliance with legal, security, and organizational data governance policies. Full compliance with security, privacy, and data governance policies
Partner with HC and DCOE teams to improve system efficiency and integration with other platforms. Collaborations with HC/DCOE teams result in improved system performance or automation efficiencies
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and data issues, ensuring timely resolutions. 100% of critical issues resolved within SLA; proactive monitoring prevents recurrence of system/data issues.

Manage change requests, enhancements, and project deliverables for HCIS improvements. Support HC digital initiatives and recommend innovative technology-driven solutions.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome SHE risk well maintained
Target Zero LTI
SHE Management System meets the current ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 and SMKP standards and requirements

Education

Min. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Information System, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min. 3 - 5 years of experience in HR systems administration, implementation, or HR analytics roles.
  • In-depth understanding of HCIS, including structure, configuration, data flows, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated success in HRIS configuration, system integration, and reporting development.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functional processes such as Core HR, Talent Management, Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll.
  • Solid grasp of HR data management, reporting, and analytics principles.
  • Advanced skills in HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong command of reporting and analytics tools
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate HR business needs into system requirements.
  • Experience in managing or supporting HC system implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with HR, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
