Welding and Fabrication Training Specialist
Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective and relevant training programs in the field of welding and fabrication. Ensures that trainees acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to perform welding and fabrication tasks safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.

Develop and deliver training programs on various welding and fabrication techniques. Provide hands-on instruction in welding and fabrication, blueprint reading, layout, and fitting. Teach safe use and maintenance of welding and fabrication equipment and tools. |

Design, revise, and update welding and fabrication curricula according to industry standards. Create training manuals, instructional videos, and assessment materials. | Ensure training content aligns with current industry needs and certification requirements. |

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome | - SHE risk well maintained - Target Zero LTI - SHE Management System meets the current ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards and requirements |
Education
Bachelor's Degree of Any Major
Skill, Knowledge, and Experience
- Min. 5 year of hands-on welding/fabrication experience.
- Proficient in various welding processes and skilled in cutting, grinding, fitting, Inspection, and fabricating metal components.
- Willing to travel to all company’s project sites.
- Willing to work extended hours to meet the objectives as to fill in a relief role whilst the site traininginstructor/coordinator is unavailable.
- In-depth understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Strong teaching and presentation abilities for both classroom and hands-on training.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
