Asset Operation Manager

Job Summary

Asset Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of site AMG operations, focusing on risk, performance optimization, and cost management. This role involves assuring the effective maintenance and upkeep of assets, equipment, facilities and infrastructure to maximize their safety, functionality, and reliability

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures full compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) regulations across all responsible sites by overseeing mandatory training programs and conducting routine inspections to proactively minimize incidents.
  • Identifies and assesses maintenance-related risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity and meet customer expectations for risk management, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Drives maintenance excellence by monitoring performance metrics, optimizing spare parts inventory, and deploying long-term strategies that enhance asset reliability and align with business goals.
  • Collaborates with the budgeting team to develop site-level maintenance budgets and partners with clients or business lines to optimize fleet configurations for improved risk control, performance outcomes, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establishes and enforces standards for all maintenance facilities, including workshops, satellite and temporary setups, ensuring consistency, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Manages vendor and supplier relationships to secure high-quality maintenance services, equipment, and spare parts. Involved in contract negotiations, oversees warranty processes, and ensures service quality and compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with Mechanical Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with Mechanical Engineering
  • Having Minimum 10 years experience in Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Fixed Plant Maintenance.
  • Excellent in strategic & analytical thinking
  • Willing to travel to projects / sites in remote locations.
