Job Summary

The Sustainability Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the sustainable corporate strategy and roadmap, driving ESG performance across the value chain and the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Implement the corporate sustainability strategy, aligning with global standards, industry best practices, and stakeholder expectations. Corporate sustainability strategy is successfully implemented.
Establish and maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, to drive sustainability initiatives and embed sustainability principles into business decision-making processes. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is well established.
Development and Implementation of ESG reporting frameworks and processes, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting of sustainability metrics to internal and external stakeholders. Achieved reliable and transparent ESG reporting.
Support all departments to engage with clients, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to drive collaboration and sustainability initiatives throughout the supply chain, assess their sustainability needs, and provide advisory services on implementing sustainable practices. Successfully enhanced stakeholder engagement and implemented sustainable practices.
Monitor and track progress against sustainability goals and targets, and regularly report to the Management. Established a robust system for monitoring sustainability goals.
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's/ Masters degree of Sustainability, Engineering, Environmental science,  Business, or a related field.

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the field of environmental and sustainability management.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, initiatives, and projects in a corporate setting is key.
  • Ability to collaborate across internal and external boundaries to meet common objectives.
  • Experience with environmental management systems (EMS) or other sustainability reporting tools.
  • Strong problem solving skills including experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
