Supervisor Project Accountant

Job Summary

Responsible to Project Accountant activities relating to Finance and Accounting function activities in order to produce timely and accurate financial information specifically for project management purpose and Corporate.

Key Metric
Assist Direct Superior in monitor and controlling day to day FandA operations for projects including : project reporting, PL analysis, budget and forecast preparation, maintain account (Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss) reconciliation and administration, and also for the items as follow: � Revenue estimates (Including production data) � Major Subcontractor and Supplier Cost Estimates � Balance score card � Contingency � Risks and Opportunities Other costs, equipment rate, capital expenditures Direct superior is well assisted.
Responsible to monitor the invoicing process (progress claim, commercial invoice and variation claims) to ensure all work progress by Company is booked, billed to Client and paid within payment terms of each of the Contracts. Document responsibility
Identify financial aspect in contractual clauses (e.g. financial implications of damages, billing, other related financial clauses) in the contract and provide new concept, approach or feedback. New concept, approach and feedback are accurately provided.
Responsible to liase with cost control in preparing weekly and monthly project�s capex report during its construction period to ensure capex is in-line with the approved budget. Cost control is in-line with the approved budget.
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Finance or Accounting

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min. 2-3 years experiences as Accountant
  • Familiar with SAP accounting system and module.
  • Strong knowledge on Cost Accounting Concept
  • Attention to detail and accuracy essential
  • Over time might be required to meet report deadlines
  • Business travel and working for periods of time on Site Project might be required
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
