Geotechnical Engineer Lead
Job Description:
- Review and analyse geotechnical report from client included parameters and design specification and recommend necessary technical advice if required.
- Check and monitor report of slope stability and drain hole to ensure that the slope movement calculation is well identified and recorded properly.
- Develop geotechnical awareness for mine plan engineers and mining operations personnel related to proper process, implementation and safe operations.
- Closely monitor work practices and face locations to ensure that operations are guided through any geological discontinuities or geo-technical complications that may affect mining performance.
- Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree of Engineering major, preferably in Mining.
- Min. 7 (five) years experiences as a Geologist in mining industry.
- Exposure on variety of Mining disciplines
- Familiar with Geology Model and Geotechnics software.
- Possess a good communication skill.
- Possess an excellent analytical skill.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
