Asset Engineering Superintendent
Job Summary
- Prepare and provide comprehensive engineering approach and analysis to Asset Management operation in Energy sector (Mining, OGS Services, Construction) w.g. (but not limited to): Asset LCC, Rate, New asset purchase analysis, Asset disposal analysis, Asset improvement analysis etc.., which eventually support effective and effici.e.nt Asset Management operation.

| Prepare and maintain Asset rate (especially mobile equipment): - Consider OPEX and CAPEX maintenance (incl. depn) - Consider asset target life | Asset rate is well-prepared and maintained. |
| Prepare and maintain LCC (life Cycle Cost) to provide realistic LCC, incl.: - Setup list of maintenance task of an asset type - Setup component/parts target life and parts price, sourcing from confirmed source - Consider price escalation (if any) - Consider historical performance e.g. MA% etc. Maintain LCC means: to do periodical review, to see the LCC fitness to apply: - Consider updated parts price - Consistently in period of review e.g. yearly - Consider recent performance | LCC is well-prepared and maintained. |
| Prepare analysis on asset actual performance: - To see the fitness of LCC - To prepare the basis of LCC review/update | Analysis is successfully provided. |
| Prepare and provide light recommendation if any, on (not limited to): - Standard disposal plan, periodic update - Recommendation in determining predictable asset performance, revenue and asset risk, in form of: Preparing TBE, Involve in asset improvement process, Adjusting asset target life, refer to today/current asset condition/performance, Partially involve in new asset purchase (spec, drawing, testing, delivery check), Adjusted asset rate (lengthening target life, adjust disposal plan, component life etc.), Additional ad hoc report/analysis (e.g. tyre, GET, bucket etc.), Preparing base data for further analysis 1) Rent Vs. Own comparison 2) Various Asset life Vs. its LCC 3) Tech spec comparison over several asset model/brand | Recommendations are correctly provided. |
| Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome | - SHE risk well maintained - Target Zero LTI - SHE Management System meets the current ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards and requirements |
Education
Bachelor's Degree of Engineering
Skill, Knowledge, and Experience
- Minimal 5 years of experience.
- Able to use computer well i.e. MS Office suite, especially spread sheet application and CMMS (is a plus).
- Willing to travel to site in remote area.
- Have competencies of operating procedures and use of equipment
- Own high ethic and practice good attitude at work, strong willing to perform and grow, willing and able to work under high pressure whilst maintaining the quality of the result.
- Must have good and excellence in leadership, communication and negotiation skill.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
