Civil and Structure Superintendent

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the planning, design, analysis, and execution of civil and structural engineering works for assigned projects. This role provides technical leadership, ensures compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements, coordinates multidisciplinary project inputs, and supports project delivery from concept through construction. Reviews technical documents and ensures that engineering solutions are safe, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Lead the development of civil and structural design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports. Design deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and aligned with project scope 
Perform structural analysis using relevant engineering software and ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards. Structural analysis is performed using approved software with 100% compliance to applicable engineering codes and standards
Develop technical solutions for structural systems, foundations, infrastructure works, and associated civil components. Technical solutions for structural systems and civil works are feasible, cost-efficient, safe, and meet project performance requirements.
Support quality control activities and ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements. Engineering outputs pass internal QA/QC checks
Provide technical support during construction, verify construction compliance with design intent and safety requirements.  Construction issues are resolved promptly and site queries (RFIs) addressed within agreed timelines
Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and address technical concerns.  Engineering inputs for project schedules and resource plans are delivered on time; client communications are clear and responsive
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min. 5 - 7 years experience delivering civil and structural engineering designs for medium to large-scale projects. 
  • Experience working within consultancy, EPC, building construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

  • Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, design methodologies, and construction practices.

  • Experience with on-site engineering support and resolving construction-phase challenges.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong ledearship and management skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
