Job Summary

  • Provides first level of supervision over a several mining sections of the mining production resources at the mine projects to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Responsible to implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan. Short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process are successfully implemented.
Supervise the performance of operators, technicians. Lead hands and unskilled personnel in the Mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process using short term variance. The performance of operators and technicians are well-supervised.
Monitor and control mining production and productivity on an hourly basis including loading / unloading point to ensure smooth day to day operations. Day to day operations are proven to be smooth.
Ensure a good communication and relationship with Client representative at Pit area. Good communication and relationships with client representatives are well established.
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

High School Graduate of Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min 3 years as Mining Operator Lead Hand for High School graduate and 1 year as Mining Foreman for Mining Engineer graduate.
  • Having a POP certificate is preferred
  • Have knowledge of mining operations and knowledge of SHE
  • Willing to be based on project sites
  • Good communication skill and work in team.
  • May be required to work flexible hours to meet project requirement
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
