Job Summary
Monitors and supervises the excavation phase of a construction project, as well as ensureing the job completes on schedule and in accordance with the set specifications.

| Responsible for compliance to weekly and monthly planning, including scheduled Inspection, relating to all maintenance tasks set out daily / to help achieve long term maintenance plans and high equipment availability. | Long term maintenance plans and high equipment availability are successfully achieved. |

| Review and analyse Failures to plant by monitoring trends and report pending equipment failure for correct planning into backlog, advising immediately if equipment is unsafe to operate or high potential of major failure occurring. | Failures are successfully corrected and prevented. |
| Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome | - SHE risk well maintained - Target Zero LTI - SHE Management System meets the current ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards and requirements |
Education
Bachelor's Degree of Metallurgy
Skill, Knowledge, and Experience
- 2 years experience in Grade control metallurgy or appropriate is prefered
- Understand the concept of mining and good mining practice
- Able to work under pressure, physically and mentally healthy
- Willingness to be placed at project site.
- Able to communicate well at all levels
- Have good leadership skills
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
