QC Coordinator

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise QA/QC activities across construction disciplines.
  • Ensure implementation of Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and quality procedures.
  • Monitor inspection activities and verify compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and standards.
  • Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Client, and subcontractors regarding quality matters.
  • Review and maintain quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, and punch lists.
  • Lead investigation and resolution of quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Prepare quality reports and provide quality performance updates to project management.
  • Ensure all turnover documentation is complete and properly maintained.
  • Promote continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the project.
  • Maintain and actively implement SHE programs & responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements & procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC within EPC, mining, minerals processing, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or coordinator position.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, inspection processes, and construction quality controls.
  • Familiar with international codes and standards (ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, IEC, etc.).
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary construction quality activities.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willing to work on a roster basis at site.

Certification

  • If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 6.
