Project Control Superintendent - Awak Mas
Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all project control functions, including planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost control, reporting, and change management.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project coding structures.Establish project control budgets and baseline schedules.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, expenditures, and progress against approved targets.
- Prepare and present periodic project performance reports to management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project teams to identify risks, delays, and corrective actions.
- Support project forecasting, trend analysis, and recovery planning.Ensure project controls systems, procedures, and reporting standards are consistently implemented.
- Promote and maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree of Engineering
Skill, Knowledge, and Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Control, Cost Control, or Project Scheduling within EPC, mining, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of project control methodologies, budgeting, forecasting, earned value management, and project reporting.
- Proficient in project control tools and systems such as Primavera P6, PRISM, WBS, or equivalen.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, will be an advantage.
