Fleet Optimization Management Specialist - Vale Pomalaa

Job Summary

Analyze, optimize, and enhance the performance of the company’s Fleet Management System (FMS) to improve operational efficiency, equipment utilization, and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Assist in the deployment of the companies selected fleet management system. The deployment of the companies selected fleet management system is well-assisted.
Collaborate with site teams to ensure accurate data capture and system reliability within the Fleet Management System. Fleet Management data integrity consistently maintained above target accuracy rate.
Support system updates, configuration improvements, and FMS troubleshooting in collaboration with IT and OEM providers. System uptime and performance maintained above benchmark.
Develop and maintain FMS dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to support production and maintenance decisions.
Data reporting systems are automated, accurate, and timely.
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

- SHE Management System meets the current ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards and requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Minimum 1–5 years of experience in Fleet Management System analytics, optimization, or mining operations.

  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills with experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Knowledge of FMS platforms (e.g., Modular, Jigsaw, Hexagon, or Wenco) is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights.

  • Strong reporting and presentation skills.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  • Experience working on-site in mining operations is an advantage.
