Supervisor Project Forecast and Control

Job Summary

Manage and oversee the consolidation, validation, analysis, and reporting of project cost and forecast information across all projects to ensure financial performance is accurately monitored, forecasted, and aligned with corporate objectives. Provide governance, analytical insights, and cost control recommendations that support project management, operational decision-making, and business performance.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Consolidate, review, and validate project cost, forecast, and production data received from project sites to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy.  Consolidated project data is accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule. 
Monitor actual project costs against budget, forecast, and approved business plans (ABP), identifying cost variances, trends, and potential financial risks.  Cost variances are identified promptly and reported accurately.
Prepare periodic project forecasts, including reforecast exercises, by evaluating project performance, cost drivers, production assumptions, and operational changes. Project forecasts accurately reflect project performance and are delivered within reporting deadlines.
Analyze project financial performance through cost trend analysis, productivity analysis, unit cost analysis, and variance analysis to provide actionable recommendations to management. Analytical reports provide meaningful insights supporting management decisions.
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min. 3 years experience as cost controler, project control
  • Fluent with project control programs such as SAP, WBS, etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of Mining Business Proces.
  • Strong financial management knowledge.
  • Strong leadership.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
