Job Summary

  • Supporting Tax Manager's role in controlling all company's taxation activities including provide support for all business lines in taxation matter to ensure accuration and reliability of tax process conform with current government regulations and policies.

Job Responsibilities

Key Metric
Supporting Tax Manager in handling and manage all tax disputes and resolutions, escalate it to the Tax Court and reconsideration to the Supreme Court if needed in order to find the best resolution for all. Tax manager's supported successfully.
Monitor and control day to day company's transactions and its tax implication by reviewing any balance Sheet reconciliation, profit and loss reconciliation and others provided by tax staffs, to ensure that company will not miss any tax obligations. Day to day company's transactions are successfully monitored and controlled.
Monitor and keep update with new tax laws and regulations/tax news/cases and determine their effect to the company in order to advise management on any major impact. Tax laws and regulations are updated.
Verify and analize amount of reported tax, amount of tax inputed to the system and annual corporate income tax for company as well as prepare the annual tax return to ensure data accuration and reliability comply with government current regulation. The amount of reported tax has been verified and analyzed.
Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Bachelor's Degree of Finance or Accounting.

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Min. 7 years previous experiences dealing with tax.
  • Good understanding on the company’s business activities, and its related (i.e. mining, oilandgas, EPC, etc)
  • Good understanding and implementation of tax regulations / laws and procedures
  • Familiar with accounting principle and procedure and General Accepted Accounting Standard
  • Familiar with the tax dispute and resolution process and strategy
  • Keep update with government curent tax regulations.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
