Job Summary

  • To lead and manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of training-certification programs for Mining Mine Services, MMS and Engineering & Construction, E&C employees. The Operation Excellent Training Manager will be responsible for aligning training-certification initiatives with the company's strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing employee skills and knowledge to improve overall performance, safety, and productivity

Key Metric

Operational Excellence

  • Identify training needs based on analysis of employee competency gaps and business objectives.

  • Design and develop relevant and effective training curricula, including training modules (handout, slide, lesson plan, assessment tools, training aids, catalog) and evaluation methods.

  • Manage PetA Management System & Manage training program and schedules, ensure the availability of required resources (trainers, facilities, tools and equipment).

  • Organize and facilitate the implementation of training programs, both in-house and in collaboration with external training institutions. 

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant surveys, pre-post result, behavior change and performance analysis

  • Manage the employee competency certification process in accordance with corporate and industry standards and applicable regulations.

  • Ensure the completeness of certification documents and secure data storage.

 

Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a competent and dedicated training-certification team.
  • Provide coaching / mentoring to team members to improve performance and career development.

 

Coordination, Collaboration & Marketing

  • Build and maintain good relationships with relevant stakeholders, such as other division, departments, external training institutions, industry associations, and government officer.

  • Assisting the Head of Petrosea Academy; including in promoting and marketing training and certification programs

 

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare periodic reports on the implementation of training-certification programs, including participant data, evaluation results, and costs incurred.
  • Present reports to top management on the success of training-certification programs and recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze training-certification data to identify trends, measure ROI (Return on Investment) of training-certification programs, and make data-driven decisions.
 

SHE Aspects

  • Ensure that all training-certification programs include aspects of occupational safety, health, and environment.
  • Collaborate with the SHE department to develop training-certification programs that support a safety culture in the company. 
  • Implement SHE corporate & project programs to ensure compliance with SHE Standard, Procedures and Regulatory requirements

- SHE Management System meets the current ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards and requirements

Education

  • Diploma-up (D3/D4/S1/S2) in Mine Engineering or Civil-Construction Engineering; with at least 5 years of work experience in the mining or civil-construction sectors.

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively;
  • Ability to develop and implement high quality Mining Mine Services-MMS and or Engineering and Construction-E&C training-certification programs (incl. develop competency standard, training & certification program, training curriculum and syllabus, Competency test assessment material);
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively;
  • Ability to build relationships within internal/business line and or external parties (association industry, certification body, government and other institutions);
  • Capable of operating multiple units of equipment (heavy equipment) used in mining and civil construction, including light vehicles;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical predictive and problem solving skills; o Proficiency in ICT/Office software (Microsoft office, Multimedia software, LMS)
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage

Certification

  • Minimum Train of Trainer Level 4 BNSP and BNSP Assessor Competency and or
  • Certificate IV in TAE40116 - Australian Standard (preferable)
