Logistic Officer
Job Summary
The Logistic Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating logistics and material handling activities at the project site to ensure timely, efficient, and safe movement of materials, equipment, and supplies in support of EPC operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities, including material handling, transportation, and site distribution
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to support project schedules and avoid operational delays
- Manage and monitor inventory movement, storage, and material availability at site
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and construction teams to ensure smooth material flow
- Liaise with vendors, transporters, and subcontractors for efficient logistics execution
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation (delivery notes, material tracking, reports)Identify and resolve logistics issues (delays, shortages, discrepancies) to minimize project disruption
- Ensure compliance with HSE/SHE standards and safe material handling practices at all times
- Monitor logistics performance and support continuous improvement in efficiency and cost control
- Lead and supervise logistics crew to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures
Education
Bachelor Degree in any major
Skill, Knowledge, and Experience
- Min 3 years of experience in logistics / material handling, preferably in EPC or construction projects
- Proven experience in supervising site logistics operations (material movement, warehousing, transportation)Strong understanding of inventory management, material control, and site logistics processes
- Familiar with HSE/SHE standards and safe working practices in project environments
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders (procurement, construction, vendors, subcontractors)
- Strong communication and coordination skills, both internal and external
- Ability to handle documentation and reporting (delivery notes, material tracking, logistics reports)
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage delays, shortages, and operational challenges
- Willing to work in site-based / remote project locations
- Able to speak in English is advantages
Certification
- If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 5.
